Cooper's are the developers and manufacturers of the Cooper's System. It is a family owned company founded by Simon Cooper, originally a restorer of character homes and antique furniture.
The Vision
Disillusioned by all the sanding required when using traditional methods, Simon thought; "Why do all this sanding again when a sanded surface already exists under the old finish? Wouldn’t it be great to be able to completely remove the old finish without causing damage."
The Solution
Simon developed a range of products that fulfilled his vision. The result was so successful that restoration became easy. Fifteen years since the original vision a complete do-it-yourself system evolved consisting of three key strengths; product, method and backup support.
